Parish Advent Mission       Fr. Philip Chircop, S.J. will conduct the Mission with the theme “Christmas - a Festival of Incarnation”, at Holy Name of Jesus Parish, Cambie & 33rd Ave, Vancouver on Dec 13-15, 7 pm.

 

Misa De Gallo (Pre-Christmas Novena)     A special novena of evening Masses will be celebrated at Saint Patrick Parish from Dec 15 to Dec 23.  Festive music, Filipino food and guest preachers will make this novena an ideal spiritual preparation for Christmas.  Masses will be celebrated at 7:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, 4:30 p.m. on  Saturday and 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.  Everyone is welcome.

7th Annual Advent Vigil for the Silenced   Join us in a silent stand for justice for those who are silenced homeless or pushed out hungry, unemployed and forgotten.  Everyone is invited to join us on Dec 22 (Wed) noon at Cathedral Square (opposite Holy Rosary Cathedral).

Remembrance of All Souls  November is the month to remember all our departed family members, brothers & sisters and friends.  Please pick the "All Souls Day Remembrance" envelopes and drop into the collection basket during mass or return to parish office. One mass per envelope will be offered except indicated.

 

Christmas Cards    Sending your greetings with religious messages on Christmas card is far better than those without.

Vigil for Life   Archbishop Miller will lead a Vigil for Life on Saturday, Nov 27 at Holy Rosary Cathedral to begin the Advent season with prayers of thanks and protection for human life.  Pope Benedict XVI has asked all the world's bishops to promote the Vigil for Life during the Advent season and to invite the faithful to pray for the unborn.  The vigil will include Eucharistic adoration and will start at 7:00 p.m.

 

Mass for the University Students     Archbishop J.
