Free admission, please bring a new pair of men’s socks or used jeans (especially small size) or used jackets (no sweaters or shirts) or used bedding or cash donation on site for the charitable work of the Franciscan Sisters of Atonement.  Bring along your non-Catholic friends.  Also wear Christmas colour of red and green.

Teaching daily speaking skill and vocabulary.  Every Saturday, 11:30a.m.-12:30p.m.  No class in December.

 

Parish Advent Mission       Fr. Philip Chircop, S.J. will conduct the Mission with the theme “Christmas - a Festival of Incarnation”, at Holy Name of Jesus Parish, Cambie & 33rd Ave, Vancouver on Dec 13-15, 7 pm.

 

Misa De Gallo (Pre-Christmas Novena)     A special novena of evening Masses will be celebrated at Saint Patrick Parish from Dec 15 to Dec 23.  Festive music, Filipino food and guest preachers will make this novena an ideal spiritual preparation for Christmas.  Masses will be celebrated at 7:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, 4:30 p.m. on  Saturday and 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.  Everyone is welcome.

 

7th Annual Advent Vigil A Silent Stand for Justice for those who are silenced, the homeless or pushed out, he hungry, the unemployed, the forgotten.  Everyone is invited to join the following Wednesdays, noon hours, in Advent.  Dec 15 - Downtown Main Library Branch, Robson St. entrance; Dec 22 - Cathedral Square, NE corner Richards & Dunsmuir.  Info call Sr. Elizabeth Kelliher at 604-685-9987.

John Eason, Apostleship of the Sea and drop them off at the Holy Rosary Cathedral.
