Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church – Church Bulletin

Christ the King Sunday – Nov 20, 2011

November All Souls, Remember Also - New 4 “Last Things” for Catholics

1.  Anointing of the Sick.  It is for the seriously sick, or for people who will undergo serious surgery.  Don’t wait until the last minute.  This Sacrament will not automatically send people away from this life, only God will in His own time.

2.  Planned giving.  Leave your legacy for the eternal work of the Church.  Our parish legal title is: “The Archbishop of Vancouver as represented by Canadian Martyrs Parish”.

3.  Catholic Cemeteries.  They are places for, and devotion to, the souls of the faithful departed.  Monthly Mass will be offered for those laid in rest in the Gardens of Gethsemani.

4.  Mass for the soul.  Souls in purgatory will be thirsty for Mass to help them enter into the presence of God.   Remember to arrange Masses offered for you in your will.
