Day of Fasting and Abstinence 

Catholics from age 14 are bound to abstain from meat. Those from 18 years to the beginning of their 60th year are bound to fast i.e. no meat with only one full meal be taken.

 

Lenten Recollection - The Crown of Thorns     The Prayer Group invites everyone to this talk by Fr. Joseph Nguyen, Vocations Director, Archdiocese of Vancouver on Mar 24, 6:30 pm in parish hall.

 

First Friday Mass & Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament                   Mar 2 (Fri).  Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 9:00 am to 7:45 pm. Vocations hour at 6 pm, Benediction at 7:45 pm followed by Mass in Cantonese at 8:00 p.m.  Please sign up at the Info Counter. Divine Mercy Devotion  at 7:20 pm.  Prayer intentions will be offered in the Mass.

 

St. Joseph's Society    A second collection will be held next Sunday (Feb 26) to help the retired diocesan priests.  At present 17 priests  are on full retirement, 13 on partial retirement and 2 on sick benefits. Your generous support will be appreciated.  Online donation is also acceptable on http://www.rcav.org.

3-Day Grotto, Mt. Angel Pilgrimage     Apr 9-11.  Mary, Mother of Christ Praesidium is hosting this pilgrimage to help celebration of the 75 anniversary of Legion of Mary in Archdiocese of Vancouver.  Spiritual Director is Fr. EV12 Home Coming     Fountain of Love & Life Vancouver (FLL), the Chinese Programming Ministry of Salt & Light Catholic Media is hosting an evangelization event in Cantonese on Mar 25 (Sun), 2:30 - 4:30 pm at the Michael J.
