ROSARY October is the month of the Rosary. You are invited to say Rosary together. Please come 25 minutes before every Sunday Masses (except 8:15 a.m.).
Parish Community Activity ~ Prayers in Latin Fr. Peter Chiang has offered to teach Latin through common prayers (e.g. Our Father, Holy Mary, Gloria, Creed ...). Please call Mabel at 604-808-9600 if you are interested.
World Mission Sunday is on Oct 23rd. This is a world-wide collection for the missionary church that provides emergency aid when disasters strike, cares for refugees in war torn nations, and provides rural health clinics and transportation for priests, catechists, religious and lay pastoral workers. It provides financial support for the daily needs of all missionaries. Please pray for the missions and be generous on World Mission Sunday.
White Ribbon Against Pornography (WRAP) Our parish Catholic Women's Leagues (English & Chinese) will be promoting the White Ribbon of Signatures Campaign on Oct 22 & 23 (Sat & Sun). Please support the national campaign by signing your name and postal code on the ribbon. It will be sent to Members of Parliament addressing our concern about the proliferation of internet pornography.
REMEMBRANCE OF ALL SOULS November is the month to remember all our departed family members, brothers & sisters and friends. Please pick the "All Souls Day Remembrance " envelopes and drop into the collection basket during mass or return to parish office. One mass per envelope will be offered except indicated.
