Help for Mission    Fr. Henry Mrema ALCP is a member of the Apostolic Life Community of Priests in the Opus Spiritus Sancti who came last Sunday.  He comes from Tanzania and his Order has a lot of vocations to priesthood.  This year they had five new priests and four deacons will be ordained to priesthood 2012.  They are really in need of funds/scholarships in their studies to priesthood.  For tax receipt, make cheques payable to Canadian Martyrs or St. Joseph the Worker Parish.  Please mark Fr. ROSARY    October is the month of the Rosary.  You are invited to say Rosary together. Please come 25 minutes before every Sunday Masses (except 8:15 a.m.).

 

First Friday Mass & Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament      Nov 4  (Fri).  Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 9:00 am to 7:45 pm. Vocations hour at 6 pm, Benediction at 7:45 pm followed by Mass in Cantonese at 8:00 p.m.  Please sign up at the Info Counter. Divine Mercy Devotion  at 7:20 pm.  Prayer intentions will be offered in the Mass.

 

White Ribbon Against Pornography (WRAP)  Our parish Catholic Women's Leagues (English & Chinese) is promoting the White Ribbon of Signatures Campaign after Mass.  Please support the national campaign today by signing your name and postal code on the ribbon.  It will be sent to Members of Parliament addressing our concern about the proliferation of internet pornography.

 

Prayers in Latin       On Oct 29 (Sat), 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.  Fr. Peter Chiang will teach Latin through common prayers (e.g. Our Father, Holy Mary, Gloria, Creed ...).

Annual Mass for Deceased Bishops, Priests and Religious    will be held at Holy Rosary Cathedral on Nov 3 (Thu) at 12:10 pm.  All parishioners are welcome.

 

Archdiocesan Eucharistic Congress    will be held on Nov 5 (Sat) at St. Matthew's Parish, Surrey.  Mass at  9 am with Archbishop Miller.  Victoria Bishop Richard Gagnon will speak, and Fr.
