First Friday Mass & Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament   Feb 3 (Fri).  Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 9:00 am to 7:45 pm. Vocations hour at 6 pm, Benediction at 7:45 pm followed by Mass in Cantonese at 8:00 p.m.  Please sign up at the Info Counter.

* The first apostle Jesus called, thus he is also called the Protoclete.

* Born at Bethsaida, 5 A.D. - 69 A.D.

* Single, fisherman.

* Disciple of John the Baptist who pointed out Jesus to be the Lamb of God.

* Introduced his brother Peter to Christ.

* Evangelized in Palestine, Asia Minor, Scythia and Greece.

* Crucified for Christ in a X-shaped cross, thus it becomes his symbol.

*  Feast day on Nov 30.

* Andre, Andy, Andrea etc. are the variant forms of his name.

 

Lunar Chinese New Year Dinner will be held on Jan 29, Sunday evening at Continental Seafood Restaurant.  All tickets have been sold out.  Thank you for your support.

Children's Room                Parents with babies and toddlers who use this room during Sunday Mass are kindly reminded to respect the quiet environment, prayerful atmosphere and the need of other parishioners so that they can attentively participate in Mass.  It is the role of parents to guide their children throughout the liturgy of the Mass.

 

Saturday & Sunday Parking         Be considerate, please do not park on any yellow line at the parking lot.
