First Friday Mass & Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament      May 4 (Fri).  Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 9:00 am to 7:45 pm. Vocations hour at 6 pm, Benediction at 7:45 pm followed by Mass in Cantonese at 8:00 p.m.  Please sign up at the Info Counter. Divine Mercy Devotion  at 7:20 pm.  Prayer intentions will be offered in the Mass.

 

Rosary   In the month of May, come to join us in saying the Rosary 20 minutes before Sunday Masses (except 8:15 am).

 

Project Advance 2012, Sharing with Joy

-Parish goal: $168,000, of which $39,000 goes to the Archdiocese and $129,000 for debt repayment.

-Suggestion: $432 for each family, or $36/month for 12 months.

May - the month dedicated to our Blessed Mother  The Legion of Mary in Richmond invites you to join them on May 5, 2012 (Sat) for the Crowning of Our Lady here.  The celebration will begin at 8:45 a.m. for the recitation of the rosary and Mass will follow at 9:30 a.m.

 

Mother’s Day Special Lunch    will be held on May 13 (Sun) at our parish hall.   Tickets will be available before Mass next Sunday.  $16/ person.

 

How Can I Keep From Singing?   Two concerts by the Corpus Christi College Chamber Choir on Apr 29 (this Sun) at 3:00 & 7:30 p.m. at Oakridge United Church.  Tickets $18, please call 603-822-6862.

 

Workshop for Pastoral Care Volunteers    by Catholic Health Association of BC on May 1 (Tue) at St Michael’s Parish in Burnaby, Mass at 8:30 a.m.  Speakers will address issues like depression, the efficacy of a pastoral visit, the Sacramental ministry to the sick and Church teaching on health care issues.  $60 including lunch.  The registration can be downloaded from www.chabc.bc.ca under “upcoming events”.
