Stations of the Cross         The last public Stations of the Cross for this Lent will be held on Mar 23, English at 7 pm and Chinese at 8 pm.

 

Prayer Life”         Talk in Cantonese by Emeritus Bishop Ignatius Wang of San Francisco will be held here on Mar 20 (Tue) 7:30 pm.  All are welcome.

 

Lenten Recollection - The Crown of Thorns

Holy Land     To every Christian, the Holy Land is a special place as it is the place where Jesus lived before.  Yet due to political situation, the Catholic Church there is in great need of assistance.  Every Good Friday, collection will be taken throughout all Catholic Churches to help them.  You are also welcome to go to http://www.commissariat.ca to know more about the church there.

 

Rite of Scrutiny       Please pray for our elected as they enter into the final phrase of preparation for baptism in Easter.

 

Parish Pastoral Council    will be held on Mar 22 (Thu) 7:30 p.m.  Each parish group should send at least

Advance Care Planning Workshops  Catholic Health Association of BC and the Respect Life Office will facilitate workshops on Advance Care Planning at St. Peter Parish, New Westminster on Mar 24 and Star of the Sea Parish, White Rock on Apr 24.  Workshops begin with Mass at 9 a.m. and a light breakfast. Come and learn the latest tools to help with the planning and care we all want at the end of our lives.

Man of the Shroud Exhibition   at Immaculate Conception Church, Delta on Mar 26 - 31.  Dr. Phillip Weibe will lecture on the authenticity of the Shroud and its significance for theology, the history of the Shroud, carbon-dating etc.  All are welcome.
